We intend to use the Alix 6 in a Linux-only situation.
I've used u-boot on our last project, and I know how to get it to do the stuff we do.
I really don't know what the tinybios that comes on the board is capable of. I assume it can't chat with me on an Ethernet port as u-boot does.
I saw someone using PXE - can anyone tell me where I find that documented please?
So the question is - has anyone implemented u-boot on an Alix-6... and if not is the design sufficiently similar to any Geode reference board that a u-boot for that board would work with it?
Biggest question I guess is whether I could stick u-boot in the boot ROM on the board with any standard of cheap tool.
Anyway - any and all advice welcomed please.
