Part One: OpenBSD 5.7 install disk to apu1d4 mSata16d installation for network dummies (like me)
There is no complete os install info for openBSD to apu1d4 mSata that I can find so let's start one here.
1) It is said that some mSata cards do not work with openBSD, I received the msata16d, SSD M-Sata 16GB MLC Phison, HTS code: 8523.5100 on Oct 16, 2015. Does it work, for now, I'll just try.
2) It is said that the bios must be updated for openBSD to install properly. I recieved the apu1d4 also on Oct 16, 2015. Does it have the new bios that should work, for now, I'll just try.
It appears that there is no installing openBSD to the apu1d4 until it is first booted with an os to conduct that install. As a network dummy, I would guess the usb boot is probably easier. With a little luck the openBSD disk will know how to set up the usb stick for me and it'll be a no brainer. I really haven't seen any good info on how to install to mSata once the apu1d4 is booted from usb or pxe, so if someone could post a link, I would be grateful and will continue documenting this process. For now I will try to make the usb boot disk.
