I just bought and received a apu1d4 machine.
I've assembled it correctly, but it doesn't boot from USB nor does it enter the setup.
Whatever I do it just says "No extension-based loader found".
It came preinstalled with the 9/8/2014 firmware, which just doesn't seem to work at all?
Have I just received hardware installed with an non-working firmware at delivery? That firmware cannot have been tested at all?
And if so, which firmware does actually work? I mean, I'd like to be able to at least enter the setup and preferable be able to install NetBSD on it (which it states that it can run, otherwise I wouldn't have bought it).
EDIT/UPDATE: It seems like it is only NetBSD 6.x/7.x that doesn't boot, OpenBSD do boot fine. I would prefer to run NetBSD on it though, anybody that have any tips/hints to get me going? I still can't access the setup though. I will update this thread with an actually console session beginning of the comming week.
