This my first attempt at embedded computing ...
i dd'd a pfsense [pfSense-2.0.1-RELEASE-4g-i386-nanobsd.img.gz] image onto a 4gig CF for my wrap203 board [http://www.pcengines.ch/wrap1e203.htm].
it doesn't seem to boot. when i connect the power all three led's light up for a second then only one led stays on and thats it. id did look for an on/off switch but couldn't find one. so i'm assuming the boot process would commence once the board has power. the power adaptor ouputs 18V/0.8 amps
i tried flashing other images (monowall) same result. is there a way to verify that the board itself is intact ? are there test / diagnostic images to do that.
found the solution here:
the problem is due to the switch to NanoBSD with pfsense and some issues with the WRAP board.
