I "just wanted to install OpenWRT" on the SDD of my new APU4C4.
This turns out a lot more time consuming than I expected.
I obviously need a bootable Linux USB stick that contains gparted to extend the EXT4 fs on the SSD after copying the OpenWRT image there.
Tinycore does not contain APT or GPartEd.
All bootable Linux images with gparted that I found did not have the serial console activated on boot. So I tried to do that. Some had no syslinux.cfg, others mounted that FS as read-only.
Of course tinkering around for a few more hours would possibly lead to success, but WHY is there no such advised image around the PC Engine How Tos / Forums that would spare many peaople a lot of time?
Which is the recommended USB-bootable Linux image to use for APU for installing other OSes/images on the internal SSD of APU boards?
Thanks a lot!
