I went to https://pcengines.ch/howto.htm#TinyCoreLinux, downloaded the Windows installer, and created a USB stick.
I copied https://3mdeb.com/open-source-firmware/pcengines/apu1/apu1_v126.96.36.199.rom onto my USB stick.
I started a serial console on my computer, and can see the APU1D4 start up, and start to boot from the USB stick. I never get anything else.
I never hear the beep that's supposed to happen in the autostart.sh script, so it's not like the console changes speed or something. I'm just never getting fully booted into the tinycore OS. The SHA256 signature checks out, so the image I'm using to create the USB stick should be good.
This process seems pretty straightforward. I can't see what I'm doing wrong. Can anyone help me get the tinycore image booted up? What am I missing here?
