i want to update my BIOS on APU2C4 Board. The following steps i had done:
apu2-board:~/apu2 # flashrom -w apu2_v4.6.1.rom -p internal flashrom v0.9.8-r1888 on Linux 4.4.114-42-default (x86_64) flashrom is free software, get the source code at http://www.flashrom.org Calibrating delay loop... OK. coreboot table found at 0xdffae000. Found chipset "AMD FCH". Enabling flash write... OK. Found Winbond flash chip "W25Q64.V" (8192 kB, SPI) mapped at physical address 0x00000000ff800000. This coreboot image (PC Engines:PC Engines apu2) does not appear to be correct for the detected mainboard (PC Engines:PCEngines apu2). Aborting. You can override this with -p internal:boardmismatch=force. apu2-board:~/apu2 #
My question is: is the message ok? shoud i force the flash write?
ROM-File is from:https://github.com/pcengines/apu2-documentation#binary-releases
EDIT: Could it be, the reason for this is indirectly:
"set board names prefix to "PC Engines" (Kconfig)"
if so, than every thing is ok, and i can force the update.
Thank you for your attention.
