New Jordans 2016 is always cooking up something special for NBA Finals season, as it's the perfect time to remind everyone who the GOAT is even if a certain someone has a habit of making it to 6 straight Finals appearances and counting in the current league. This year, Jordan Brand will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Mike and the Bulls’ 6th and final NBA Championship with the return of the Defining Moments Pack, as a special edition Jordan 13 and Jordan 14 in honor of the 97-98 title will release this June. Celebrating Michael Jordan's sixth and final championship with the Chicago Bulls, the basketball sneaker is dipped in a luxe colorway of white and gold. With the pristine hue dominating its quilted leather upper, metallic gold accents across the mudguard, midsole and collar section — as a nod to the Larry O’Brien NBA championship trophy — pronounces the overall design.
Jordans 2017 will commemorate Michael Jordan's final, triumphant season as a Chicago Bull with a pack sneaker release this summer featuring the shoes he wore while securing his sixth ring. More than 11 years since its introduction, Jordan Brand continues the Defining Moments Pack series by this time celebrating his Airness' last NBA Championship run where he wore the Air Jordan 13 and Air Jordan 14. The "Away" themed Jordan 14 DMP has a predominantly black leather upper allowing for the gold foil branding to truly shine on the Ferrari-inspired pendant and outsole shank. Alternate "98" branding also replaces the usual "23" PE insignia on the heel, but it's basically camouflaged given the matching black shade. Only the slightest bit of red hits the heel and the XIV circle on the herringbone outsole.
Cheap Jordans 2017 Defining Moments Pack series, which started over a decade ago has offered the most memorable retro releases, each featuring a combination of numbered signatures adding up to Michael's number 23 or touches of premium metallic gold in honor of MJ's winning legacy. the Air Jordan XIII and Air Jordan XIV. MJ switched back and forth between them during the six-game series, entering it with the former and victoriously exiting it with the latter, in thrilling fashion. Hardly anyone knew it at the time, but that sixth game would signal the end of an era. Now the Air Jordan Finals Pack returns in honor of that legendary achievement, which took two pairs to seal the deal and two hands to hoist the gold. Michael Jordan started the 1998 Finals in the Air Jordan XIII, in black and red. Then he hit the shot that secured his sixth title, in the Air Jordan XIV, also in black and red. That shot came in Game 6, making the XIV into an all-time classic, just off the strength of the most famous stepback jumpshot in NBA history.
