we need a computer for a retrofit solution where a custom video screen is used as primary display. We looked at the datasheet of the Geode LX CPU and saw that its DAC supports dot-clocks down to 7.92MHz. So a Geode based board comes into concern for our application. Is it possible to progam or configure a special mode line directly into the BIOS or in the NVRAM to support this fixed-sync screen directly at startup? We will get a test unit in the next weeks so we can check with Linux if we can configure X11 server on the Alix 3D3 to control the screen.
