We are runnig an old Linux that was supplied to us when we started working with Alix6f cards some years ago.
It identifies itself as:
# uname -v
#1 PREEMPT Tue Jul 20 10:18:44 GMT 2010
# uname -r
All works fine, except I need to run a package which uses POSIX queues, and the kernel doesn't support them.
I need CONFIG_POSIX_MQUEUE=y
I'd like to generate a revised one, but making as few other changes as possible so as to minimise risks.
I don't have the sources available.
So can anyone tell me the shortest route to adding this facility to my kernel?
